C can count from 1 to 10 without any problem. Yet she does not understand 'quantity'. If asked to count 3 apples, she would keep on going till 10!
I was playing with her the "கும்மி" the other day (Of course without the கும்மி) and we were doing the strokes in a loop of 8. We were counting the strokes in English. I wanted to teach her counting in tamil (which she does not do yet) and we did two loops in tamil. After finishing the second tamil loop, C stopped and said, "ini spanish!" We both didnt know to count in S, but she seems to have understood S as a separate language from one of her toys that talks the alphabets and numbers in both Eng and S.
This is about our little darling Chantel!!! குழலினிது, யாழினிது என்பார் மழழை தம் சொல் கேளாதார் னார் வள்ளுவர்.

Tamil
C is slowly grasping the language differences and most of the time can differentiate between the two. D has been demanding C to talk in Tamil ever so often. Whenever D asks her to say it in Tamil, C takes ponders for sometime and then starts with "tamilla... tamilla..." and then completes the sentence.

Apple picking
We went with varna and jeev. Got the tomatoes. Were really stinky. C enjoyed it quite a bit. We also went to pick berries. C was very careful in plucking the black berry and starter accumulating in the box. (I had to hold her up to the berry) Later we went to pick apples. While getting down from the bus, C managed to pull Jeev's basket of tomatoes down to the floor!
